Due to some dental work I stopped taking the Apple cider vinegar for close to a year.
Today I pulled out my open bottle of organic apple cider vinegar and found the “mother” had separated. Something was on the bottom and something else was floating in the middle. Should this be thrown away or shaken up and consumed?

Hi Linda! Check if you see an expiration date. Usually if it is fermented that “preserves” it to a certain point. For example, mine from Costco has about a three year shelf life. Do you know when you purchased it? Most apple cider vinegar, if it is still good has that separation naturally and just needs shaking to mix it up before using. If it has expired or you are not sure when you purchased it, I suggest purchasing a new one to be safe.

Hi Jen, It will help along with exercise (even light walking) and a clean eating diet that is not packed with sugar and carbs. It all depends on your diet as well. I eat very clean and minimal carbs and when I start adding my apple cider vinegar drink in each day I do see improvement in my gut health and a pound or two of weight loss.

hi Im drinking this as I’m typing, i am drinking it without the added maple or fruits, just apple cider, water and lemon. super tasty in my opinion. Today I binged on some lasagna and things i would not mention, and drinking this makes me feel better LOL. tomorrow ill eat clean and add this drink to my diet. thank you for the recipe!
