Cardboard Truck Craft with a wagon for toys, friends or siblings!
A few weekends ago, I really need a break from the kids and needed to go for a VERY. LONG. RUN to clear my head (how many times have you been there?). On the weekends Kris and I usually switch off our workouts in the mornings. I go for a run then Kris and Chase go for one together, then Kris goes for a solo run and then we play as a family the rest of the day! Everyone feels great. Well a few weekends ago I had the pleasure of walking into the house to three very happy boys after my run. And what did I find? A daddy making a truck with a caboose for the boys!
I immediately had to grab my camera and shoot a few shots to share with you! All that is needed to make this craft is 2-3 cardboard boxes, duct tape and markers to draw on the wheels.
First my hubby drew out rectangles where the windows were to go for the Cardboard Truck Craft. Then cut out the front of a truck and taped everything together to the main cabin. Another piece of cardboard is used to connect the caboose to the truck. And there you have it- free play for a day!
