A fresh coat of paint usually does the trick to brighten up a room but sometimes it is time to go a little farther. New cabinet knobs, a bright white subway tile back-splash and charcoal counter tops have transformed this country kitchen into chic and modern.
My friend has wanted to redo her kitchen for quite a while and this year finally got her wish. The goal was to make the space modern combined with a farmhouse sink, all while working with the existing cabinets and layout. I had to share this astounding transformation as it is quite inspiring and her hard work looks beautiful! But before we look at the stunning transformation, here are the before pictures.
And the after pictures.
Simple details of yellow pillows, fruit and accent pieces really make this room “POP”

Remodeling a kitchen takes a lot of planning. I agree that applying a new coat of paint on furniture often does the trick, but there are times when doing so just won't do. Anyway, I love the fact that you went the extra mile in remodeling your kitchen, Danielle. It's one area you spend most of your time in, after all. Plus, I agree that the yellow on the newly-bought accessories made the room pop. Great job! Kudos! 🙂
