I must admit I love Friday’s and can’t believe how quickly it sneaked up on us this week from the holiday. Time is flying by far too fast and my goal for over the summer is to take each day and moment with ease.
Last night we had a BBQ at big C’s preschool to celebrate the end of the year and children that are moving up to Kindergarten. C’s big buddies will be missed, but we are so happy to watch them grow. After having my baby just finish his first year of Preschool, I am more than grateful for all the teachers out there. Thank you for your love, teaching, growth, support, knowledge, patience and time. You truly do light up our children’s lives. And our own lives as parents. Our teachers helped our family transition into bringing home a new baby and helped guide me through dealing with tantrums and not listening from a 3 year old. They have walked me through steps on how to be the best parent I can be – my most important job.
To show our gratitude, Big C made classy gold candle holders out of mini terre-cotta pots as Teacher’s Gift with Free Printable. First we spray painted the insides gold. After our pots were dry we flipped it over and sprayed the outside. Once dry we placed fun gold stickers on the pots to personalize that it is handmade. A small scented candle is presented in the center along with a tag that is taped to a Popsicle stick. On the backs of the tag there is room to write a personal note. This gift is a small token of appreciation from the heart and what better gift is there then a homemade one:-) ?
