  • Preheat oven 375 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and ½ cup of melted coconut oil. Mix well. Add 1 cup of sour cream and whisked egg. Mix until dough forms. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead slightly for about 2 minutes. Form dough into a round ball and place on baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl mix 2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil and 2 Tablespoons sour cream. Brush mixture on the top of the loaf. Use a sharp knife to cut an “X” into the top of the loaf.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. About 45-50 minutes. Check for doneness after 35 minutes.
