Get ready for the holidays mamas! Elf On The Shelf Ideas For A Month!
On December 1st, when our family first awakes we find an adorable little elf in our home dangling on a wall or hanging from a shelf. Who is this adorable elf? Well his name is Thistle. Thistle first arrived in our home from Santa last year. So I bet my little men are excited for him to arrive soon this year! When I asked Chase what he remembers about his Elf On The Shelf he says, "First he goes on the ground, then he climbs up the wall to finish his adventure and ends up on the ceiling. You can't see him because he is hiding all year long in the North Pole with Santa." Guess we will have to see where Thistle ends up this year!
And what is the Elf On The Shelf (if you don't have kids that have yet experienced it)? It's a fun-filled Christmas tradition that's captured the hearts of children everywhere who welcome home one of Santa’s scout elves each holiday season into their home. Elves are magical helpers that help Santa Claus manage his naughty and nice lists by reporting back to him at the North Pole nightly (yay for us moms and dads!).
Some mornings we have found Thistle reading, taking marshmallow baths, tampering with our Christmas tree, sending Santa Claus letters... and the list goes on and on. So I created a printable calendar of Elf On the Shelf Ideas for the whole month! Print, frame and enjoy!
