Stewed Recipes
This method involves cooking the food slowly, normally in a covered pan with plenty of liquid. The liquid will remain, rendering a rich broth, heavily flavored by whatever was being cooked, which can sometimes be used separately as a gravy or can be consumed with the food, such as in a beef stew.
Stewing isn’t just for meats, however – it’s also commonly used in the preparation of vegetables or even some fruits. Check out some of our great recipes that call for stewing.
