Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: 6 Ingredients
- Almond flour
- Maple syrup
- Coconut oil
- Vanilla
- Salt
- Dairy-free chocolate chips (of your favorite), but you can also use mini chocolate chips or sprinkles.
HOW TO MAKE COOKIE DOUGH WITHOUT EGGS AND FLOUR
This is one of the simplest recipes to make. In a medium size bowl, with a spatula mix together the almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla and salt. It may seem crumbly at first but as you use the spatula to mix it will form into a dough. Then add in the chocolate chips and continue to mix. The result is a beautiful chocolate chip dough ball.
IS RAW COOKIE BATTER SAFE TO EAT
Please be aware that it is important to know that you should never consume raw cookie dough for health reasons (unless you know it is safe). When eggs and certain ingredients are added to cookie batter, it can cause illness if they are not heated properly to kill off bacteria. To assure that even this raw dough is safe to eat, pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes, and let it cool before adding the chocolate chips. But the ingredients are all natural ones that can be consumed as is, in their raw form.
HOW TO TURN THE DOUGH INTO COOKIES
This dough can easily be turned into cookies. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Roll the dough into 1-inch or 2-inch balls and flatten them with the palm of your hands or the bottom of a glass. Bake for 12 minutes then let set until cooled.
HOW TO STORE THIS RAW COOKIE RECIPE
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
