Recipe instructions
Juicing in a juicer: If using a juicer you want to remove the skins of the orange and pineapple. Remove the rind of the orange as well as citrus fruit rind can add a bitter taste. Here is a great article if you have questions about what fruit skins to remove before juicing. Add the pineapple, orange, and ginger to the juicer and enjoy over ice or as is.
In a blender: In a blender, also make sure the skins of the pineapple, orange, and ginger are removed and rind is also removed from the orange. You can remove the skin of the ginger with a knife or vegetable peeler. Then add the pineapple, orange, and ginger to the blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a mesh nut bag or enjoy with the pulp over ice or as is.

Recipe FAQs
Pineapples have a high amount of vitamin C, and eating too much pineapple can cause symptoms of nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or heartburn (from the acid). Also eating unripe pineapple can be toxic and cause diarrhea and vomiting. Aim to eat 1 cup of ripe pineapple per day.
Both juices have incredible benefits and are rich antioxidants and nutrients, almost in equal amounts. Mixing them is a great way to enjoy all the benefits of both fruit as they pair well together and bring out the best flavors in each! One of the biggest difference is that pineapple has a digestive enzyme called bromelain. According to the National Center For Complimentary and Integrative Healthy, "Bromelain is promoted as a dietary supplement for reducing pain and swelling, especially of the nose and sinuses, gums, and other body parts after surgery or injury. It is also promoted for osteoarthritis, cancer, digestive problems, and muscle soreness. Topical bromelain is promoted for burns."
With all those health benefits of consuming pineapple and orange, it's time to drink up! Cheers to this marvelous lip-smacking ginger pineapple orange juice!
